These are the concrete things I coaxed into being. I would see someone online doing them and would try to take on the ones that interested me.
The balls are just old basketball or tennis balls, wrapped in chicken wire, and plastered with concrete. I don’t know about the little one, but I bet the big one floats.
The planter was interesting - I read about mixing cement and peat moss together for a type of concrete that would help dirt fill hold its moisture. I don’t know about that, but I DO know it is a HEAVY son of a gun.
And the one that looks like a Pueblo wall was something that seemed a lot better in my mind than on the ground. It’s too big, too heavy, and falls over since there’s no base under it.
The pagoda thing was fun, but I didn’t reinforce it enough and it is cracking up. So anyway, here’s what I did back then.
