Geophysicist turned to Art

My time at college for the degree and a good portion of my life was spent as an Exploration Geophysicist. Alongside geologist partners, searching the deep secrets of the earth for wonders and secrets.

But after leaving that realm, and trying my hand at several other things, I finally turned to writing. My wife and I started a technical writing business and we are doing well with it now some 26 years along.

But I wanted to create - create art. I tried all types of art through my life but never spent enough time at any one to become anything more than mundane.

But now, two pursuits I have held seem to be capturing my longer attention - photography and creating/welding yard art. Both are captivating and have captured my artistic senses.

I started this website just as a way to get more of it out, should anyone find it of interest. My welded creations I take to shows and sales and set up a tent and offer my wares. I’ve sold a few. That is pretty much the ultimate compliment when someone buys a piece. Thanks to each and every one of you who did!
